I, Mikenzie, grew up with livestock on both sides of my family. My mothers family raises commercial cattle and my fathers family raises registered Simmental and finisher cattle. One of my biggest influencers by far has been my grandfather, Mike Elliott. Without him WR2C,  wouldn't have been imagined. He has taught all of his grandchildren what work ethic is and how we can teach it to our future generations. His father started buying and selling trader cows and making a name for the Elliott family. Gramps began the buying and selling of registered Simmental cattle, along with starting up a 3,200 head feedlot with his brother, Al. He has allowed us to buy tremendous heifers out of his registered cows as we grow our operations and he slows down. My father, Kevin Elliott, has also been a huge advocate in the growing and expansion of the herd allowing us to keep our herds combined.
